Discussions Rules and Guidelines I arrived at Caed Nua, entered the prison, fought some monsters, on the floor below where you meet the old dude, one of my followers died because I f'd up. But I'm a wuss and I'm playing with "Maim" instead of Death. It seemed it bugged though, cuz I couldn't control her even when the fight was over. I rested, and there she was back again. I realized I'm a slow pace CRPG player and that Caed Nua doesn't respect my favored play pace (in CRPG). It's a mechanism favoring rush players, sigh. For those who don't know: expense are time based (time) and rare low benefit are quest achievement based (turns). It hurt me, why the hell I throw money to trash in that crap not designed for my play style. It's too late to not have spend money The Endless Paths of Od Nua is a 15 level mega-dungeon located beneath Caed Nua, in the western Dyrwood. Ok so I have fought off a few invasions, I now however have hired help, if I click "auto resolve" will they defend for me? also if I decide to fight mysewlf, will my hirelings be in the fight too? There's no particular reason to aim for this - you can't get the sex bonus at Caed Nua, and they behave exactly like any other hireling, providing a +2 prestige bonus. I know that there are 7 Erls that rule these lands, and that they answer to the Duc in Defiance Bay. My question is what is our title as Lord of Caed Nua and who is our direct liege? Also, do we rule over a vast territory, or just the surroundings of Caed Nua? I just want to know Is anyone else having this issue? I have played for nearly 40 hours restarting characters and trying out different things until I found a build/character I enjoyed playing. A few days ago I started this "final decision" playthrough. I skipped past most of the quests in order to recruit all the non-expansion companions so I could "start" playing the game with a full party. I got to Caed Nua Any suggestions about doing one or the other first? I'm a completionist, and I normally try to finish all available side quests before moving on to the main storyline. You should have five people in your party at this point (your PC, warrior, wizard, priest and chanter). Where did I miss the Priest? I did everything I could find in the first town, the woods to the north, and the two to the east on the route from the town to Caed Nua, I mapped everything and killed everthing but 2 shambling mound looking things, they killed everyone before getting one to 50% .
